Minecraft being 9 characters falls under the minumum amout of characters for the title of topics

Just informing those who have any inclination to getting minecraft that it is entering beta on the 20th of the month.Which means a price increase and that you no longer get all updates for free.

No, but eye candy is always a bonus when playing games.

it's not a mainstream project

Plus the graphics are meant to be block like since that's how you build things. Makes the building simplistic.

Uncool literally cause Minecraft has inefficient code so it could make a crappy computer overheat and lag.

Never mind, I can play Minecraft. It just doesn't work in Chrome. However, Internet Explorer seems to run it fine.

I'm somewhat tempted to buy the beta vers. of Minecraft. What do you guys think?

Don't buy the beta just wait till its out of beta or if he if ever gives beta buyers the same deal that he gave to alpha buyers.
If you buy in beta you get all updates until beta is over then you don't get anymore.
Unlike alpha where you get all updates for free forever.
